Insurance and Veterinary Assistance Terms and Conditions

Meet My Doggo provides its Premium members with 24/7 veterinary assistance, a veterinary insurance partnership with AXA for the well-being of dogs during stays, as well as insurance coverage for damages caused by the dog at the borrower’s home. Here are the terms and conditions.

The veterinary insurance

Meet My Doggo, in partnership with AXA, has established a veterinary insurance that covers damages suffered by dogs in the event of an accident during their stays.

 

This insurance is exclusively reserved for Premium members (both the dog owner and the borrower must be Premium members during the stay to benefit from this insurance).

 

To be eligible for this insurance, the damage must occur during a dog’s stay.

 

The coverage amount is limited to €500 per claim with a €50 deductible (borne by the dog owner).

 

Specific Conditions of the Insurance

 

It is specified that:

 

• The damages suffered must be of accidental nature and occur during the dog’s stay with a borrower.

 

• The damages must not be the result of an illness.

 

• The borrower must not mistreat the dog.

 

• Accidents that occur on public roads when the dog was not on a leash are excluded.

 

• Dogs of categories 1 and 2 are excluded.

 

• The veterinary insurance is valid worldwide.

 

In case of non-compliance with these conditions, the coverage will not apply.

Please note that original receipts or invoices for medical and veterinary expenses will be required to benefit from the coverage.”

The veterinary assistance

Meet My Doggo provides borrowers with veterinary assistance available by phone 24/7.

 

The phone number is available in the borrowers’ member area. Please note that you must be a premium member to access this number (only premium borrowers can participate in stays on Meet My Doggo).

 

In the event of a medical issue with a dog during a stay, borrowers can directly speak with a veterinarian over the phone and receive professional advice.

 

The veterinary assistance phone number is not subject to additional charges.

The insurance for damages at a borrower’s place

Meet My Doggo has implemented insurance that covers material, immaterial, and bodily damages caused by dogs at a borrower’s place (breakages, injuries, etc.).

 

This insurance is available exclusively to Premium members (both the dog owner and the borrower must be Premium members during the stay to benefit from this insurance).

 

To be eligible for this insurance, the damage must occur during a stay and must be of an accidental nature.

 

The coverage amount is limited to €50,000 annually with a €250 deductible per claim.
